Riza Application

The Riza application has an estimated completion time of 30 minutes.

*Must have a valid passport that will not expire with in 6 months or have just applied for a renewal or new passport!

Application Process

  Fill out the Riza Application portion. Applicant's minimum age must be 17 years old.

  Provide 3 references, and send them the links to the reference form (included in confirmation email).  Application will not be reviewed until all 3 references are submitted.  These three references must come from: Your pastor or small group leader, parent, guardian, or spiritual parent, long term friend (preferably over 3 years).

  Wait to be contacted for a phone, video chat, or in person interview. Then wait for notification of acceptance. You will be contacted within 2 weeks of receiving application AND all reference forms.

  Application and References deadline: July 1.

  Tuition Deadline
  August 15 Tuition (includes room and board) cost: $2,900* if you are unable to pay your tuition in full, there is a  payment plan available, please contact TheRizaExp@gmail.com to set up a payment plan once accepted).
  Schedule of a 4 Payment Plan:
  $750 due by Sept 1
  $750 due by Sep 15th
  $750 due by Oct 15th
  $750 due by Nov 15th

  Important Info
  The following costs are not included in your tuition:
  + Outreach cost: approx. $1000-$2500 depending on location of trip
  + International Travel Insurance is required during the outreach phase: approx. cost $50 - $100
  + Immunizations (if required by country for entry): up to $250, depending on country.

  Phase 1 (Learning to Grow in Community): Aug 28th - Nov 15th
  Phase 2 (Learning to Grow Yourself): Nov 16th - Jan 5th
  Phase 3 (Learning to Grow Through Service - Outreach): Jan 6th - March 15th
